Maureen Denise McCormick was born on the 5th of August 1956 in Woodland Hills California the youngest and only daughter of Richard McCormick and Irene McCormick. Her family consisted of a mother who was an housewife, and her father who was a teacher. Michael Dennis Kevin is her three elder siblings. McCormick is always a fan of dancing, singing and performing show puppets. She was crowned in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 and was contacted by Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He was interested in her desire to work in the business of show production. Her first major role came during 1964, which was when she appeared in a TV commercial for Mattels baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. That year that followed, she appeared in another television commercial for Chatty Cathy's doll. The following year, McCormick was chosen by La Jolla Playhouse to play the role of the character Wind It up before It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick won a 1969 audition from 1200 kids to be the youngest of three twins in the TV show The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed with Robert Reed. The series lasted 5 years. McCormick's memoir Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was released in 2008. She revealed in it that McCormick almost lost her virginity on the sets of the show in its fifth season to Barry Williams. He was 19. She was just 16. She told me that it could be possible, however we never had the right moment to make the decision.
