Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in the United States. Following her film debut in the 1983 film Bad Boys, she was one in the Brat Pack group of actors. She also appeared in WarGames The Breakfast Club and Short Circuit. Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art won her the Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading. Sheedy was married to David Lansbury married on April 12th of in 1992. David Lansbury was the brother of Edgar Lansbury's producer of Godspell and also the nephew of actress Angela Lansbury.
