Ms. Rivas, a licensed and bilingual clinical social worker who has worked in the non-profit sector for more than 13 years. She is familiar with a range of people, such as LGBTQ+, individuals with addiction issues, those who have suffered of domestic violence, sexual abuse in intimate relationships, and so on. Since 2019 Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. Telehealth is currently offered for Behavioral Health. Dr. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team, which works with postpartum and pre-natal women, is a trauma-informed therapist for adult patients and is an expert in trauma-related care. Additionally, she offers Individual and Group Therapy, Medication-Assisted Treatment Programs, Referrals to Specialty Care, Women's Support group. Amanda is also a member of the Best Friends Animal Society. Amanda assists homeless animals find places to call home. She is a firm believer in the motto from Best Friends, "Save Them All" She is determined to transform Los Angeles into a city where animals aren't killed.
